harry potter is nice, but still, not as nice as the very first one. i don’t know how much plot they have omitted because i don’t read the books. i hope they would not change the casts because i still like daniel radcliffe and emma watson. the effects are great though.

we went to jb to shop for new year clothes. there’s always not enough time to go into every shop in there. we managed to buy some clothes there and sis wanted her ‘balloon’ skirt. the things there might not necessarily be cheaper, but it’s definitely easier to bargain there. there’s more variety too. =)

phew, luckily there’s no jam.

the seminar has ended. it’s probably the best times i have this year. i didn’t know the certificate was so prestigious until they said we would be given priority to get into mass comm in ntu next time. i’m just starting to know the people and cliquing with them. but we can still keep in contact, so that’s not too bad. =)

we learnt how to operate some machines and how to prepare for our report tomorrow. it’s quite fun though. xinling knows that my horoscope’s gemini and keeps attacking me. she said geminis are fake people. what can i say? she’s generalizing all the geminis but she’s a very nice person.

we visited the tv station and the radio station today. i thought the places look and sound majestic, but it’s not. it’s so small that it became kind of congested even when we were divided into 2 groups. nevertheless, the trip was fun! it’s not as if everybody could get inside the stations as and when they like.

while at the tv station, we saw a group of fans trying to catch a glimpse of the participants who took part in the star search. i don’t watch it so i don’t know who’s who. and there’s a guy, wearing dark shades, who turned back and waved to us. all of us asked who he is. he probably thinks that the whole world knows who is because he takes part in the competition, but we don’t. so sadly to say, he only embarrassed himself by waving at us.

we saw the broadcaster, huang xiuling and she’s pregnant! she can speak such fluent mandarin. it’s so fun to be in this course. how glad i am to be able to join this course. wu qing kang and zhou chong qing came too. it’s so fun. it’s just like a mini-autograph session.

and so, my mass media seminar at ntu has started today. we arrived in ntu only to find that we had gotten off at the wrong stop and lost our way. it was raining then, and that made us more difficult to find the place. it’s a new building, so not many people know where it is, albeit asking people for directions.

we’re late, but it makes people remember us better because we came in late.

we’re divided into groups and today’s full of talks. i like the photography talk. =) i guess it’s because it’s more visual.

pw’s op is finally over. i’m so relieved. it’s better than what i’ve thought it would be. at least, after the few practices we have, i can remember what i want to say better, though i think i spoke a bit too fast still. how i hope my group didn’t get the moe moderators. nevertheless, it’s over and how glad i am now to know that i can dump all my pw stuffs away. =)
